House Mouse Challenge No. 8 ~ Halloween

2008 October 6
by Mary B. Giemza

The challenge this week is “Halloween“.   Yay, pretty easy one!

If you don’t own any Halloween stamps then don’t panic. How about just using a Halloween colour scheme!! I’m sure you will all come up with some great work. It’s entirely your choice what you make – card, Lay out, atc, etc anything goes as long as it features at least one House Mouse or Friends image and follows this weeks theme.

There is also some blog candy up for grabs to one lucky winner who will be chosen randomly. This will be 10 stamped images, 10 large & medium sized blooms & 10 metres of ribbon.

I had fun again with this one…cut the card base in the shape of a candy corn, embossed the yellow, orange and white cs with the swiss dots Cuttlebug folder.  I also used paper tole for the candy corn costumes on the mice.  (Please see tutorial below)  I’ve used this technique alot and wanted to show you how easy it is.  It really adds lots of dimension to the card.   Here’s a closer look.

Mary, Mary, Mary, this card is more adorable than mere words can express. You have gone and done it again…you have designed another mouse-terpiece:o) I love the candy corn shape to the card, and your beautiful coloring. How do you do it? I wish you could teach me how to use my markers like that. Gorgeous EVERYTHING!!!

    Hugs!
