What a nightmare indeed!

MY Nightmare!

MY Nightmare!

If you happened to have read my last post, you may recall that our internet connection was down for TWO whole days, both at home and at work!! Talk about a NIGHTMARE!

Tonight, while discussing this awful fact at Creative Pals, a stamping and scrapbooking store in Brookfield, Wisconsin ~ which, by the way, just happens to be owned by the Whipper Snapper people (my new favorite stamps!) a woman pointed out to me this stamp by American Art, Emerson Quillin. It’s called Disconnected! Well, needless to say, I HAD to have that stamp! It’s amazing how once in awhile a stamp and I just connect! (pun intended) πŸ™‚

My sister in Florida collects these stamps, so it’s a gift for her (of course, now it’s a USED gift!), but I HAD to make a quick card with it!

I bought SEVERAL stamps from the Whipper Snapper store, I’m hoping to get some cards done using them this weekend. Please be sure to stop back. πŸ˜‰

Happy Friday night!!
Recipe: American Art stamp by Emerson Quillin, “Disconnected” stampd in Versifine onyx black, colored with copics; DP is Ebony & Alabaster by Black Market Paper Society from GinaK’s; Rhinestones and flowers for embellishments.

  1. ROFL!!! I just ordered about a dozen stamps from American Art yesterday! This one is PERFECT for you this week, Mary! I love the paper you used, and the scoring around the image is great, too! It looks like it’s framed! Great job! (And I hope you don’t have that nightmare again!)

  2. I’m glad you were able to do some retail therapy after your stressful week without the internet… what a nightmare indeed! Home is bad enough, but work too? YIKES!

I’m jealous that you made it to the Creative Pals store… I haven’t been there yet and need to go! heehee… Super cute card – I’m sure your sister will love it!
