House Mouse Challenge No. 36 ~ Gatefold

Happy House Mouse Monday!!

Glad you could stop in today.  Our challenge this week is a Gatefold card ~ instructions can be found on the Splitcoast site here

This is one of the new releases from Stampabilities, it’s called Tall Tales, featuring the Happy Hoppers ~ Ity Bit, Hop-It and Bumble.  They look so intense reading their book, that I thought the story must be a pretty exciting one to capture their full attention.  So, we’ll pretend they are reading the classic children’s book ~ The Tale of Peter Rabbit, by Beatrix Potter.  🙂

but, don't go into Mr. McGregor's garden!!

For those of you who are not familiar with Peter Rabbit, Peter’s mother told him and his siblings ~ Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-tail, that …

‘you may go into the fields or down the lane, but don’t go into Mr. McGregor’s garden: your Father had an accident there; he was put in a pie by Mrs. McGregor.’

Pretty scary stuff for little bunnies!  LOL   Needless to say, Peter did not listen to his mother and got into all kinds of trouble!    I  thought it would be funny to use my MS fence punch, since Peter had to squeeze under Mr. McGregor’s gate to sneak into his garden!

I hope you can join us in this challenge.  Please also be sure to check out all the awesome Gatefold creations by the very talented HM DT.

Thank you for dropping in today – hope you have a good Monday!  🙂
