InStyle Stamps Blog Hop – Treats!

Welcome to another InStyle Stamps Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is Treats – which is perfect for the Halloween season, aka treat time!   🙂

My card today features ISS‘s favorite fairy, Cynthia with a very unhappy looking Mr. Owl.  This image, along with several other Halloween themed images are being released today on the InStyle Stamps blog.

The image is colored with Copics and I’ve added lots of Shimmerz in Sunshine to the moon to match the glitter cardstock used throughout the card.

I was racking my brain trying to somehow add the treat theme to this card.  So, I did a search on the internet and found a recipe for owl cookies!!    (Who would have thought!)   Of course my cookies are not quite a well shaped as the ones in the picture for the actual recipe, which can be found here.

I thought this would be a fun Halloween Day treat for my granddaughters.

And, a quick picture of the inside sentiment:

And, all the details of this month’s Blog Hop ~

PLEASE be sure to check out ALL the Treat themed projects from the entire ISS Design Team… we’ve added several new VERY talented designers to the team.

We are also, once again, having a contest ~ make sure you head on over to the InStyle Stamps Blog to vote for your favorite project!   The DT member who gets the most votes will win a prize … and YOU can WIN A PRIZE JUST FOR VOTING!!   After you vote, be sure to leave your name and a comment in answer to this question:

“What is your favorite fall treat?”

The contest will remain open until 11:59pm EST on Saturday, September 26th, and winners will be announced on Sunday.   Here’s a list of the entire ISS Design Team:
