A double-header ~ Copic Creations & House Mouse!

[Aren’t Mondays fun??!! I apologize ahead of time, but you KNOW this is going to be a long one!]

These adorable little sea creatures are for our Copic Creations Challenge for today ~ Coloring GREENS, in honor of St. Patty’s Day!    The sponsor this week is Our Craft Lounge.   Each DT member received an adorable set of stamps from OCL ~ my set is called BUBBLES.   I used lots of BLUE-GREEN Copic shades for my card . . .

The dp is from the Graphic 45 On the Boardwalk Collection – High Style Holiday.   I used some of the new Smooch Illuminate pearlized top coat paint for the turtle’s shell – VERY cool stuff.   The sentiment and little bubbles below it were sprayed with some Smooch Vanilla Shimmer Spritz.   I added some blue-green metal self-adhesive dots to each corner.  Each little image was colored with Copics, cut out and attached with dimensionals – except for the “school” of fish, I did not use dimensionals for them.   The usual list of Copics Used can be found at the bottom of this VERY long post.

So stop over at the Copic Creations Challenge blog to see the amazing creations from the design team and this week’s awesome prize!

Happy House Mouse Monday!

Our challenge this week was chosen by the SUPER nice and very talented Curt of  the House Mouse Design Team  ~ Anything but a card.

I’ve been wanting to color this stamp for quite awhile.  It’s called Happy Fortune, featuring Mudpie and the matching sentiment, also from Stampabilities, I’m Fortune-ate.  I thought this would be the perfect time to use them.   And, nope, I didn’t make the chinese take-out box – I found it, pre-decorated, at a Factory Card Outlet store.  Note, no design paper was used in testing this product!  🙂

I did add the ribbons though!  🙂    Be sure to check out all the awesome projects from the House Mouse Design Team, found HERE.

Phew!   I feel like I have been talking/writing a thousand miles per minute here!   I really hate to take up too much of your time with lots of chit-chatting.

Thanks for making it through to the end!    Hope your week is off to a great start.
