7 Kids College Fund ~ Gettin’ Sketchy & Beachy!

Happy Wednesday!!    Time for a new challenge at 7 Kids College Fund.    Today our host is Suzanne Dean and she has come up with this awesome Sketch …

And, as you can see from the various beachy items, it’s a BEACH theme too!

I’ve used the Penny Black stamp set called BEACH DAY.     As you can see the set comes with several matching accessory stamps ~ perfect for LOTS of summertime cards!

Since this Basic Grey ~ Lauderdale paper (that I LOVE!)  was a little busy, I decided not to use any of the accessory stamps … for fear of a bit of beach overload!!   🙂

This little cutie definitely makes me in the mood for some much warmer weather!!

House Mouse Monday ~ Green & Gold!

Happy House Mouse Monday!!!   (awww, it feels like “home” to be typing this again!)

I hope you’ve had a great weekend!

Our challenge today at the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge blog is GREEN & GOLD .… for any GB Packers fans out there ~ these colors will ring true to you!    I’m even a born and raised GB fan and truly had issues with this challenge!!     Eeeek!       (BTW, I was NOT the one in charge of choosing this challenge!!!)

Our challenge today is to (this is taken exactly from our challenge roster at the HM  challenge blog)   …   Football Frenzy:  Inspired by the Super Bowl winning team Green Bay Packers Colors, over all
theme, team etc., and chosen by our very own Stephanie of the HMDT!    (she’s definitely one loyal fan!!)

This HM stamp is called Lemonade Bubbles, and I thought it might just work for this challenge … adding a little GREEN and GOLD!        All the details on this card can be found below.

Awwwww … this cute little pup is for my monthly Sundays With Crissy challenge post!    Isn’t he soooooooo cute?!    He’s called IN THE DOGHOUSE by Crissy Armstrong and available as a digi image at Whimsy Stamps.   I thought he would work perfect for one of my grand kids who has been sick with the stomach flu.

Tiddly Inks ~ Photo Inspiration

Happy Tuesday!   You may not know this, but this little cheerleader is actually me!!   LOL    There’s a big reason why I’m cheering …  I am now officially a real-live member of the Tiddly Inks Design Team!!      YAY!!

How about a REALLY BIG YAY!    🙂

Just a little excited here, since I love, love, love Tiddly Inks images!!   If you haven’t visited this store yet, I HIGHLY recommend it!

 My very first challenge with the team is today and it’s a photo inspiration challenge …

Aren’t those the coolest colors?!    I  really love this color combo and would also LOVE to have that shower curtain!!    It did take me quite awhile to find the perfect matching colors …   here’s a shot of the various colors I tried

I settled for these four as my main colors YR02, R32, Rv66 & RV69 – branching out with a few lighter/darker ones in between.  I was also pretty excited to find this DP from the brand new Basic Grey 6×6 collection ~ Sweet Threads.

This ADORABLE little cheerleader is called  ANNIE CHEERS from Tiddly Inks – she just seemed perfect to share my news with you!

7 Kids College Fund ~ Circle Cardz

For today’s new challenge at the 7 Kids College Fund challenge blog, we’re featuring Circle Cardz ~ either circle shaped cards or circles included on your card or project.

This cutie from the Magnolia Butterfly Dreams collection  is called Tilda with Lace Jeans and she’s IN STOCK at 7 Kids College Fund!   

The DP is from the new Basic Grey 6×6 paper pad ~ Lauderdale.   I’m in love with the rich jewel tone colors in this collection, now available at 7KCF.

I thought this sentiment was perfect for what seems to be a “concerned” look on Tilda’s face!

Tiddly Inks Birthday Blog Hop!

Tiddly Inks Puzzler Adventure

I was soooo excited to read that Tiddly Inks, my FAVORITE stamp company, is celebrating their first birthday with a Puzzler Adventure beginning tonight at 9:00 p.m.!    Please click  HERE  for all the details.

This little cutie is Lilli Claire ~ Did You Hear?   Isn’t she just adorable?!    I quickly colored her up as soon as I heard about tonight’s hop … the recipient of this one may need some sunglasses since it turned out just a little bright I’d say!   🙂

One Last Snowman Tuesday

Welcome!   Time for one last Snowman card … well, in this instance – a set of cardz!    I’ve used the Snowball Set of 4 from I Brake For Stamps.  

Each image has been embossed with black EP, I then VERY carefully added a bit of color with Copics and finally, lots of Star dust Stickles.   I’ve used various pieces of the new Basic Grey Jovial paper for each card and vellum for the Spellbinders Nestabilities Beaded Circles.    Here are some closeups to see all the sparkle.

Whimsy Stamps Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Holiday Release Blog Hop for Whimsy Stamps,  celebrating NINE new holiday stamps and stamp sets from my favorite WS illustrators Crissy Armstrong and Raindrop Echo Designs.  All nine stamps and sets are available today at Whimsy Stamps. 

 I was so happy to have the opportunity to finally color one of Crissy’s carousel horses!    This, of course, is her Christmas design called Jingle Bell Ride and I just love him!    

 

 

Once again, I’ve used the VERY cool paper from Basic Grey’s new jovial paper pad for my card – In case you missed it, I did a sneak peek of one of Ann Vento’s new images also with this paper – here.   

This gorgeous guy is all decked out for the holidays and would be perfect for a special Christmas card.   The matching sentiment is part of a set included with the carousel horse ~ Jingle Bell Ride.    Seems to be a slight glare from the gold embossing in this photo, so here’s a quick closeup view …

Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peek!

Hehehe … tis the season ~ ALREADY!    I was sooo very excited when Denise, the owner of Whimsy Stamps, contacted me to ask if I would be interested in joining them to show some sneak peeks of their new holiday images!!    Since my good friends, Crissy Armstrong and Ann Vento are two of their amazing illustrators ~ how could I possibly refuse? 

I really had fun with this one!    How perfect for so many people on your Christmas card list ~  fellow crafters or your own santa!   Of course my list is everything I NEED for crafting!!    Wouldn’t that be a wonderful day to receive all this?!    🙂

 

 

This image was illustrated by Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs, who has the most wonderful collection of digi sentiments, customized signature digis, watermark digis and now actual customized signature rubber stamps over at Whimsy Stamps.   She’s one talented lady – I’ve told her it’s time to quit her day job!   🙂

I also received an early surprise Christmas present, at least it felt that way, from a dear friend – Jami Bova!!    The package was filled with LOTS of awesome goodies, including this brand new Basic Grey jovial paper pad.    OMGoodness, I love every single sheet!!    (I think I say that with each new collection from BG!   But it’s so true)  Sending HUGE hugz to Jami – you’re the best!

Phindy’s Place Challenge ~ Baby Cards

Hallelujah ~ It’s finally Friday!   Phindy Phriday, actually.   (it’s been a LONG week of too many challenges, both in cardz and life!)    Our challenge this week is to make a Baby Card – my favorite type of card!    

Every time I see this image it brings back sooooooo many memories of when my kids were babies, and a current memory of my own daughters with their babies.    This is aptly named Contentment by Phindy, and available for immediate download at Phindy’s Place.

 

 

I finally took the time to look through one of the newest Basic Grey collections – Oliver,  for this card.  I had previously put it to the side after glancing through it, thinking it was for more masculine cardz.    Silly me!    Gosh, I love ALL the papers in this pad! 

Also, when I look at this image, I imagine this Mom quietly singing a lullaby while gently rocking her baby to sleep ~ so when I found this sentiment – I felt like I had won a jackpot!     It’s from a word art site that I have been going to alot lately (recommended by my friend, the awesome Jami Bova)  called Studio Girls Scrapbookgraphics.  They have the most awesome word art images I’ve yet to find!   Here’s a closeup view of this sentiment … I had to really reduce it for my card.

Copic Creations Challenge ~ Reflections

Happy Sunday!   Today is a DOUBLE-POST day, so I hope you will stop back later for my Sundays with Crissy challenge card which will be posted at 11:00 CDT.

We have a new challenge for you today at Copic Creations ~ Reflections.    It’s a tough one, but actually fun once you give it a try!     This really adorable image is from my old stomping grounds ~ InStyle Stamps.   She’s called Dance Girl, part of their new A Day In The Life series.   Isn’t she just gorgeous?!    I’ve actually cut the image down a little to fit onto my card – the original stamp has some very pretty flowers drawn in the lower right corner.

New Halloween cuties from Sweet November ~ C.C. Designs

Happy Monday!   Yes, it’s getting to be THAT time of year again ~ time for Halloween cardz!    And, Sweet November has just released some of the most adorable Halloween images that are now available for preorder at 7 Kids College Fund.     This cutie is called Baby Trick or Treat Pumpkin.  

 

 

All the new products from CHA are starting to roll into the store already, including the Halloween in Wonderland 8×8 paper pad from Graphic 45, I can’t wait to get that!   7 Kids also has all the new Halloween punches from Martha Stewart!   Well, there goes my crafting budget for this month already!!     LOL

For a special little girl . . .

Hello!   It’s been a crazy couple of weeks with tons of challenges, so the other day I needed to take a break and just color something “cuz I wanted to”!    So, I pulled out this Sarah Kay image that I’ve had for quite awhile and hadn’t even seen ink yet!   She’s called Picnic Time by Sarah Kay from Stampavie and in stock & available at 7KCF.    I think Sarah Kay images will always be some of my very favorite.

 

 

I also can’t stop using the Basic Grey olivia papers!   I just love all the colors in this collection – a perfect name too.   My sweet granddaughter, Elia, who lives in Florida recently turned two years old, so I thought this cutie would be just right for her.

7 Kids College Fund ~ Challenge No. 1!!!

All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge card can be found HERE.

 

 

The day has finally arrived!!   After almost two years of being on the DT for 7KCF, we finally have  a challenge blog started!   Yay.   I know there are LOTS of various challenges out there, but I think the prizes at this one will be extra-special . . . starting with today ~  a $50.00 Gift Certificate to 7 Kids College Fund!!    Pretty cool, huh?   

Our first challenge is taken from the 7KCF logo ~ Pink and Dots.    So, little Tilda with Hearts  (actually named Ladybug Tilda!)  has been colored up in Pink for this special event.    Why the hearts, you may ask???     hehehe    Here’s why:

 

 

LOL   Sometimes I just have way tooo much fun!!   Needless to say, the sentiment is computer generated!
