Peace on Earth

It’s Friday!    Hallelujah!    It’s been a long week and I’m looking forward to the weekend and, HOPEFULLY, getting some Christmas cookies made.     (fingers crossed!)

My card today is really pretty “clean & simple” … I didn’t want to distract from the gorgeous image and sentiment.    I seriously just love this angel, illustrated by Elisabeth Bell for Whiff of Joy.   She’s called Praying Angel.

This gorgeous DP is from Memory Box’s Christmas paper collection called Mistletoe and I thought it was perfect for this image.   Added the sentiment and I thought that was enough — Clean & Simple!

Thanks for dropping by today.   I hope you have a great weekend.

 SUPPLIES USED:

Chocolate Kisses & Bunny Hugz! :)

Happy Friday!!!!    And I mean that sincerely!    Have I ever mentioned that I am a chocoholic??!!   So, the first time I saw this brand new Flopsey Chocolate Bunny stamp from My Favorite Things ~ I knew I HAD to have him!    How perfect – Friday night, comfy chair and a box of chocolates!!   🙂     Just the look on his face as he seems to be REALLY studying that piece of chocolate cracks me up!

The DP used is from is from a 6×6 collection from Memory Box, called Twilight.   The sentiment from the Flopsey Chocolate Bunny set was stamped and cut out by yours truly …  hopefully, it looks like a chocolate Kiss to you!   Nope, no fancy die cuts here!   lol

I applied Diamond Glazeto the box of chocolates and the piece in Flopsey’s hand, added some candy dots in chocolate …  ooops!  I mean brown, and the little beaded flower is from Marcella by K.

Hope you are enjoying your Friday!!    T-G-I-F!

Another relaxing mouse! :)

One thing is certainly for sure ~  these House Mouse guys sure do know how to enjoy life!   Floating along with a flower to shade you or lying on a branch of lilacs … I could sooooo be there!!   This little cutie is Mr. Maxwell, the stamp is called In a Nutshell.  Colored this one with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  I love these inks!!    I hope you have had a chance to see all the colors carried by 7 Kids College Fund.

The sentiment is from PTI‘s new Wishing You set.  He seemed pretty peaceful to me ~ not a care in the world!

I hope you are having a peaceful and relaxing weekend!   Don’t forget to stop back on Monday for a new challenge for House Mouse Monday!!    🙂

A “Goodnight” kiss

kiss goodnight

As soon as I saw this Sarah Kay,  Stampavie image from 7 Kids College Fund, I was completely reminded of my beautiful granddaughters!  Hailee, Joydynn , Anna and even Elia….the newest who is only 9 months old ~

Elia ~ 9 months!

Elia ~ 9 months! (Helping make banana bread)

Talk about having fun!?!  (She gets this from her grandma!)  In this picture, Elia was helping her Mommy make banana bread ~ She had a pan of flour to play with!??    hmmmm….sounds pretty messy to grandma!

Just a quick side-note, my DD, Jennifer, has started a blog (not for cards) about the trials and tribulations of being a SAHM of FOUR kids…in addition to  homeschooling them!!   Whoa….DD does NOT get this from her mom!

If you have few minutes, please stop by and say hello (I’ve been her only, lonely visitor for a week now!!)  LOL  I’m VERY proud of her, she’s quite gifted in her ability to tell stories and live her life by her faith and trust in God.  Hope you can say hello!  🙂

So, back to my card!   I totally fell in love with this Sarah Kay image …

Awwww....

Awwww....

Always kiss me goodnight!

Thanks for listening to me go on about my adorable granddaughters and amazing daughter!

Happy Wednesday….we’re getting closer to the weekend!  🙂

I have to say, I was a big fan of 7 Kids long before I was asked to be on the design team, simply because they are the BESTBEST pricing, BEST selection, FASTEST shipping and all around BEST stamping supply vendor out there!  And, now they also have the BEST selection of the most popular stamps available!

Be sure to check out the listing of over 40 Magnolia stamps they will be carrying here.   I’m so excited, since I love Tilda

I made this card using the “Tilda with Tag” stamp.

One of the popular features of the Magnolia stamps are the coordinated accessory stamps (think Barbie…car, house, swimming pool, etc.) to coordinate with Tilda and Edwin

When my granddaughters visit, I often print out “coloring pages” from the internet for them, since like grandma, they LOVE to color!   (The big secret!) :     I googled Coloring Pages, Chairs and found LOTS of sites that have various FREE seating arrangements that work out really well with Tilda!

I printed this awesome wing back chair directly from the web onto my DP…added a little Copic enhancement and viola! Tilda has a comfy chair to sit on!!

AND, 7 Kids now has many of the newest released Spellbinders’ Nestabilities dies in stock!!   The sentiment above has been embossed and die cut with the new Labels Four dies!   I’m in love!!    🙂
