Copic Creations Challenge ~ Snow/SnowPEOPLE!

Can you believe it’s December 1st already???!!   And, time for another Copic Creations challenge.   Appropriate for the season, we’re showcasing Snow/Snow …  PEOPLE.   (need to be politically correct here!)     🙂

For my card, I used a cute stamp called Snow Family from Northwoods Rubber Stamps.  They have LOTS awesome, very detailed stamps.

The snow family is, of course, colored with Copics!   The green DP is from Graphic 45’s Christmas Past Collection – The Holly and The Ivy.  The red background paper is Wildberry Red Dot by Bo Bunny.  I added a glittery snowflake from Making Memories and some glitter brad from American Crafts Essentials

Be sure to take a peek at all the fabulous Snow People over at the Copic Creations challenge blog ~  I know you’ll be amazed!!   🙂     I hope you can join us for this challenge.  We’ve got another great prize from Whipper Snapper Designs.

Thanks for dropping by today – Happy December 1st!!

Seriously!  This is probably my fifth or sixth Christmas card already this month … I’m way ahead of my usual schedule.     Now, if I can only get them mailed on time.   🙂

I found this cute little snowman from my LSS, it’s by Northwoods Rubber Stamps.   He has no name!!    hmmm …  I suppose Frosty isn’t very original.

I know we’re told NOT to do this, but I stamped this image on watercolor paper and colored him with my Copics!  They say it absorbs too much of the Copic ink, but I really wanted some texture since the  image has so much white space.   It worked okay, since I was then able to do the background with my Koi water brush and Distress inks broken china and faded jeans.    Of course, I added some Stickles around Frosty in Stardust … on the berries of the holly in Fired Brick and on his chain in Silver.   The dove, star and heart were cut out and attached with pop-it dots.   The paper is from the Basic Grey eskimo kisses 6×6 pad.

TGIF!!   I’m soooooooo happy it’s Friday.  Hope you have plans for a great weekend!

If you are interested, I have a new Tilda card up on MyMagnolia blog ~ Apple Pie Tilda!

Now that’s ALOT of berries!!  It’s a good think I enjoy coloring with my Copics … my hand was actually sore after coloring all the berries ~ with THREE colors each!!   I guess I’m a gluten for punishment.   🙂

With the extreme heat we’ve been having, I am so ready for Fall!   I really enjoy making Fall cards ~ love all the rich vibrant colors.    Both the wreath and sentiment are from Northwoods Rubber Stamps.

I love the DP on this one  …  it’s from KaiserCraft called Bohemian Threads.  Lots of different color combinations for the various leaves and berries ~ here’s a closeup of one section of the wreath:
