I’m sorry

 Happy weekend!

I’ve had my adorable twin granddaughters over this weekend and we were makin’ cards.  And, since the girls were coloring, grandma HAD to color too.    They chose this older Whipper Snapper puppy for me ~ he’s called Sorry Pup.

The DP is one that I’ve had in my stash for quite awhile, it is from a company called Colorbok.  We thought the daisies matched pretty well with those on the stamp.   I added some screw head brads and a cute little charm that I embellished with some Distress Stickles in Antique Linen.

Now who could be mad at a cutie like this!?

Thanks for visiting today!     Don’t forget to stop back on Monday for another House Mouse Challenge.     🙂

Awww…what a cute “little” face!  🙂    I really love this “big” guy from Whipper Snapper and with the little heart above his head, this sentiment from Gina K Designs just seemed to be perfect for him!

I think I love you

Unfortunately, the entire time I was working on this card, I was singing the song!!   (For those of you who are too young to remember, there was a group called the Partridge Family…with cutie pie David Cassidy, back in the 80s, I think, who sang this song!)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Thank you taking time to drop by.  I’m going to work on my HM Challenge card for Monday and HOPEFULLY, get this song out of my head!!!!!!    🙂

You Light Up My Life :)

Hmmmmm....

Hmmmmm....

Now you tell me, Who could resist that face??

 . . . Well, I couldn’t!  😀

This is another stamp from Whipper Snapper called Plug-In Reindeer…love the name.

I added some mini bulbs on his antlers & around the sentiment, and a little bell around his neck (well, maybe a big bell!).  His coat is cut from red flocked paper and has mini rhinestones applied.  His body is colored with Copics, cut out and attached with dimensionals.

The sentiment is computer generated; And, unfortunately, the entire time I was working on it, that song was going through my mind!!!   It’s a nice song, but not exactly one you want stuck in your head all night!  🙂

Hope he’s not too gaudy….sometimes, I just like simple cards, but other times ~ I get totally carried away!

Too Cute!

Too Cute!

I like your Style! :)

Okay, one MORE stamp from Creative Pals (Whipper Snapper)! I just love these stamps!

Once again, I had way too much fun making this card…stamped the hat on photo stack “straw” paper; The flamingo was stamped on ivory cs, colored with Copics, cut out and attached to the rectangle cs, cut with the newer Long Rectangle Nestabilities die. I just love the DP, its from K&Company, Classic K McKenna Striped Foral Damask Embossed paper…very cool IRL. 🙂

The sentiment is computer generated.

I’ll be back with the recipe in a bit. Thanks for stopping by!

Moo'd Swings

Too funny!

These stamps are from the Creative Pals ~ Whipper Snapper store purchased during our “field trip” on Friday night. (Isn’t that what people do on Friday night?) 🙂

The red bow is finished with Diamond Glaze; The bell is highlighted with a glitter pen, and for the “swing”, I added hemp cord. I had way too much fun putting this one together. I thought the rik rak would be a good symbol for the ups and downs!

Hope you have a relaxing Sunday.

Happy Fall…almost!

Happy Scarecrow

Happy Scarecrow

It’s been a rough couple of days…our internet service provider has been DOWN at my office AND, more importantly, at our HOME!! It has been pure torture!

Finally, we’re back up, yay! Ohh, at the office too. 😉

Thought I would post this card I made recently. I’ve been trying to use brighter Copic colors. I’m pretty happy with this one; It was a lot of fun to put together. The patches and pocket tops are paper-pieced ~ the scarecrow was stamped twice, cut out and attached with dimensionals. As I’ve mentioned, I’m not much of a sewer (unlike my sister who is the “Quilt Queen of Florida”!), so the faux stiching is done with a cuttlebug folder and highlighted with a brown Copic.

Hope you like it….and thank you for stopping by! 🙂

Life is good again ~ it is amazing how we take the internet for granted….never again for me!! I adore Charter Communications! lol
