7 Kids College Fund ~ Halloween

Halloween certainly seems to be a VERY popular theme this week!   This is my 3rd challenge card with this theme.   This time it’s for the 7 Kids College Fund challenge blog.

I’ve used one of the cutie pie new release images from LaLa Land, now up for preorder at 7 Kids College Fund.   This is Big Panda Marci.

The sentiment is from an old pack of Halloween stickers in my stash from Jolee’s boutique – but thought it would be fun to match Marci’s shiney black boots!

Be sure to take a peek at the adorable Halloween cardz from the 7KCF DT  right HERE.   I hope you will join us for this fun challenge.

Tiddly Inks Challenge ~ Manly Men

Today’s challenge at Tiddly Inks is to create a MASCULINE card or Father’s Day card.

I’ve used the image called SANDY MEMORIES, and thought this computer generated sentiment would make a great Father’s Day card …

A couple of years ago at my nephew’s wedding in New Jersey on the beach ~ all the bridesmaids wore gorgeous dresses in this teal color.    Since then, the color combo of teal & sand has always been one of my favorites and brings back memories of that beautiful wedding!

The flag was added using the end of a toothpick with a small piece of DP wrapped around it.  The sand castle was colored with Copics and then I applied some Ultra Fine Flower Soft in sand.   Here’s a quick closeup of that …

So, I hope you can pop over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog to check out the other MANLY MEN cards from the awesome Design Team, and of course, be inspired to join us for this challenge.

Thanks for your visit today.

Handsome Edwin!

Isn’t he a handsome guy?! I so seldom am able to use Edwin on a card, and thought he was so adorable in this new Butterfly Dreams image, that I HAD to color him up! This is EDWIN WITH BUTTERFLY from Magnolia.

He seemed to fit perfectly on the STONE WALL image also from Magnolia. Both have been colored with Copics. The butterfly in his hand and the various butterflies on the card have been paper pieced using matching DP, and then a small rhinestone was attached for their bodies.

The sentiment is computer generated.

Speaking of Magnolia … have you heard that 7 Kids College Fund now has the newest & cutest

SWEET RAINBOW COLLECTION

up for preorder in the store??!!     Right HERE!

7 Kids College Fund ~ Circle Cardz

For today’s new challenge at the 7 Kids College Fund challenge blog, we’re featuring Circle Cardz ~ either circle shaped cards or circles included on your card or project.

As you can see, I’ve made a circle easel card.   I’ve followed this easy tutorial http://debbiepsplace.blogspot.com/2010/04/using-nestabilities-for-easel-cards-and.html

This cutie from the Magnolia Butterfly Dreams collection  is called Tilda with Lace Jeans and she’s IN STOCK at 7 Kids College Fund!

The DP is from the new Basic Grey 6×6 paper pad ~ Lauderdale.   I’m in love with the rich jewel tone colors in this collection, now available at 7KCF.

I thought this sentiment was perfect for what seems to be a “concerned” look on Tilda’s face!

I hope you can join us for this fun challenge!   All the details and the gorgeous circle cards from the DT can be found on the 7 Kids College Fund challenge blog.

This little cutie is Lilli Claire ~ Did You Hear?   Isn’t she just adorable?!    I quickly colored her up as soon as I heard about tonight’s hop … the recipient of this one may need some sunglasses since it turned out just a little bright I’d say!   🙂

The DP is from my new FAVORITE Basic Grey collection ~ Lauderdale,  I love all the bright, rich colors in this one!

Berry Sweet Tilda!

I’ve really been missing coloring Tilda ~ It’s been way too long!    Sooooo, when I found this strawberry DP the other day, I thought it would be a perfect match for this cutie.   This is Sweet Tilda from the Raising the Ceiling collection, along with Fruit Label from the A Little Yummy for Your Tummy collection.

As you can see, I went a little DOTTY crazy  trying to match Tilda’s apron to the strawberries!    I’ve used some Liquid Pearls in White Opal for all the dots.   The sentiment is from an older PTI set called Green Thumb and it seemed to be made for the Fruit Label  . . .

Hope you’re having a good week!    Thanks for visiting.

This cutie is from the Bildmalarna collection  at 7 Kids ~ Mimosa Umbrella.   I’ve used the Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals die on some white felt for the clouds.

I must tell you …. I LOVE, love, love this paper!    It’s like coloring on butter!    LOL    All the details AND a chance for you to win a $25.00 Gift Certificate to try this paper for yourself can be found at the Copic Creations challenge blog.

In addition to ALL that I’ve missed over the last couple of months during our move, I also missed several birthdays — soooo, I thought this ADORABLE  image from InStyle Stamps would be perfect for a belated birthday card.

Isn’t she the cutest?    This is, of course, Alice (from Wonderland), part of the new Fairy Tales Collection from InStyle Stamps — you can find the whole set HERE.

All That Scraps ~ A Sketch

Helloooo out there!    Hopefully, some of you still remember me!     Sorry for the lack of posts, but we have sooooooooooo much to get done before our big move on March 21st!     Thank you ALL for your congrats on our sale/purchase — I really appreciate it.

Smiley from millan.net

This will actually be my last post for awhile for the All That Scraps Wednesday challenge blog  …  at least until some time in April when I hope to be a little more sane!   (knock on wood)

Our challenge this week is an AWESOME sketch designed by the equally AWESOME Rachel Schneider of the ATS Design Team:

I’ve used one of the newest cuties, released this month at All That Scraps, C.C. Designs ~ Spring Kiki La Rue.

Please be sure to take a peek at all the cards from the All That Scraps challenge DT using Rachel’s sketch – and be sure to give it a try … you’ll like it!

So, I hope to be posting a couple of cards during the next month  …   probably only for the Copic Creations challenge — I just couldn’t give that one up!    I hope you’ll stop back for a peek at those on the 1st and 15th.

Thanks for visiting today – hope you’re having a good week.

All That Scraps ~ Valentines (NO Red or Pink!)

Happy Wednesday!    Our challenge today at the All That Scraps challenge blog  is Valentines without using Red or Pink!    Now that’s a tough one!

I decided to go with a black and yellow bumble bee theme, starting with paper from Bo Bunny’s new Crush 6×6 paper pad.    This cutie Tilda from Magnolia is actually called Dragonfly Tilda  … but I cheated and colored her as a bumble bee!

Her wings were stamped onto vellum paper, cut out and attached to the backside of Tilda and then some icicle Stickles were added.    The sentiment is computer generated along with some stamped bees from PTI’s flower garden sentiments stamp set.

I also added a bee button from my stash which has been attached to a black button.    Trying to keep all the bees similar, I’ve added icicle Stickles to all the wings!

I hope you have a chance to stop over at the All That Scraps Wednesday challenge blog to see LOTs of awesome non-red or pink Valentine ideas.

Thanks for stopping in today!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!

Well, I certainly couldn’t let this day pass without some sort of CHEER for the home team!   🙂

Do you have big plans for the game?    Talk about Packer Fever – it seems to be the ONLY topic of conversation in the entire STATE!!

I was amazed when we went to the grocery store yesterday evening  …  it was jam packed!!  I actually heard that Super Bowl Sunday is the second highest day for food consumption!!!   (Thanksgiving is first.)

We’ll see who will be smiling tomorrow!

Enjoy the game for those of you who are planning to watch ~ I personally like the commercials the best!

Designs called  Teddy Emma, was LOTS of fun!

I hope you have a chance to pop over to the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge blog to see all the SNOWY creations from the DT!
