Copic Creations Challenge ~ Sparkle!

Can you believe that December is half over and there are only TEN more days til you know what!?!

We’ve got a fun challenge for you today at Copic Creations, perfect for this holiday season.    We want to see your Sparkly, shiny, glittery creations!

And, we’ve got another awesome sponsor this week ~ Just Rite Stampers.    I think I’ve found a new love.   🙂    It’s my first time using these stamps and I love em!     This gorgeous poinsettia image is from the Hearts Come Home collection at Just Rite.

Lots of cutting on this!   Each flower layer was colored with Copics, cut out and heat embossed with clear EP!    They’re REALLY sparkly!     The DP is from the Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses collection.

This is another quickie card I made using this same set from Just Rite ~ Hearts Come Home.   All the sparkle has been added using Copic atyou Spica glitter pens.

Sooooo if you’ve never tried the Copic Spica glitter pens, we’ve got a surprise for you at the Copic Creations blog.  To help add some sparkle to both your cardz and holidays, we have a GREAT prize package this week.   All the details can be found HERE.    While you’re there, be sure to check out the awesome samples from the always inspiring DT.

Copic Creations Challenge ~ Reflections

Happy Sunday!   Today is a DOUBLE-POST day, so I hope you will stop back later for my Sundays with Crissy challenge card which will be posted at 11:00 CDT.

We have a new challenge for you today at Copic Creations ~ Reflections.    It’s a tough one, but actually fun once you give it a try!     This really adorable image is from my old stomping grounds ~ InStyle Stamps.   She’s called Dance Girl, part of their new A Day In The Life series.   Isn’t she just gorgeous?!    I’ve actually cut the image down a little to fit onto my card – the original stamp has some very pretty flowers drawn in the lower right corner.

The best part is that our challenge is being sponsored by my friend Suzanne Dean and her Color Me Creative Classroom ~ one lucky participant will win a FREE Copic class!!   All the details can be found on the CC blog, and if you have the time, you really must stop over at the Copic Creations Challenge blog to check out the amazing creations from the awesome DT!     Very inspiring!

Copic Creations Challenge ~ Monochrome

Nope, no need to adjust your monitor . . . and nope, my camera did not break!  🙂   Our challenge this week at Copic Creations  is Monochrome ~ a super fun technique that I hope to use again!    The image above was colored with all warm gray toned Copic markers (the Ws), no colors were used ~ a definite first for me.   This little cute fairy is called Marissa.

Marissa and the matching sentiment were provided by our amazingly talented sponsor – Katie Cotton.   She owns the online stamp store called Paper Makeup Stamps.    The name of her store is related to the fact that besides being an amazing paper crafting artist, she’s also a professional makeup and hair artist!   You REALLY need to check out her work – you will definitely not be disappointed . . . Katie’s makeup blog.

I was excited to find these rhinestone stickers in an actual GRAY stone  – I think they were made for this technique!    And, the background mat behind this adorable image has been highlighted with the new Distress Ink color of Pumice Stone  ~  another perfect match!    The paper is from Imaginisce, called To Love & Cherish.

So be sure to stop over at the Copic Creations Challenge blog to see ALL the totally gorgeous creations from the awesome Design Team.   We also have links to some VERY helpful video tutorials, also from Katie, on this fun technique.    You really should try it ~ you’ll like it!

Thanks for stopping by today – Hope you’re having a GREAT weekend!

W00, 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 7  – That’s it!

Some of you may recognize this image, it’s one of my all-time favorites that I colored for our original Copic challenge of coloring Brunette Hair.   Details on downloading this free image can also be found here.   I did a Coloring Brunette Hair tutorial also, found here, using this image –  I had to follow it myself to color the image again!  lol
