The OTHER side!

Please note, my “office” is not usually this neat!   But, since it was all nice and clean, I thought it would be a good time to snap a few pictures.

House Mouse Monday ~ I ♥ U

Happy House Mouse Monday!

I hope you all had a great weekend.   The one good thing about Monday is it’s time for a new challenge at the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge blog!   This week our challenge is brought to us by my friend, the awesome Lori of the HMDT ~ HEARTS – Use a least one heart on your card.

Awwwww …  I could sooo relate to this stamp!   I tend to hug my grandkids so tight that they are usually a little stunned afterwards!   LOL    So, this adorable Happy Hopper image, appropriately named Love Bunny seemed like a perfect Valentine’s Day card for one of my grandkids.

I hope you have time to pop over to the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge blog to see all the HEART project from the DT ~ I know you’ll be inspired to join us!

House Mouse Challenge ~ Embossing

Happy House Mouse Monday … evening!

Phew!   Sorry this is so late today.   It was a crazy weekend and I wasn’t able to get this card finished until just today.

Our challenge this week at the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge blog is EMBOSSING … any kind of embossing – Easy Peasy!

This challenge has been brought to us by my friend, the SUPER talented and very dear Heather of the HMDT.

Since I was already behind, I went with some pre-embossed cardstock I had picked up at a local scrapbook store, which really saved some time.   I like that!

What a perfect place for a little nap!    This really is one of my favorite HM stamps ~ Sleeping Under Flowers.   He sure looks comfy – I’d love to be in his place right now!

Be sure to take a peek at the House Mouse challenge blog to see all the gorgeous embossed cuties from the HMDT … you’ll definitely be inspired to join us.

Thanks for your visit today!   Hope you’re keeping dry and warm – we’ve received quite a bit of snow today and it’s still coming down … blech!    🙂

House Mouse Challenge No. 81 ~ Halloween

 Happy House Mouse Monday!

So, you may be wondering what these three “flying” Happy Hoppers have to do with Halloween!    Well, since old age is setting in … I THOUGHT our challenge this week at the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge blog was to make a Halloween card without a Halloween image.   So, after racking my brain, struggling away with this challenge and FINALLY finishing my card, I found out that the challenge was actually just Halloween!    Eeeeek!   (as Mudpie Mouse would say!)

Since I had my own personal challenge ~ when I came across this Hoppy Fliers stamp featuring Hop-It, Bumble & Itty Bit, it reminded me of the days when my kids would have too much SUGAR after collecting all their candy on Halloween night, and they would be bouncing off the walls!!   We quickly learned to put the candy away and distribute one piece at a time !!   LOL

This House Mouse sentiment, Candy-Ween ,  seemed perfect for these bouncing bunnies, along with a sticker that I’ve had in my stash for a long time . . .

Ahhhh, the good old days!   🙂

I hope you will join us for this fun challenge, even if you don’t use a Halloween image!  LOL    If you’re looking for some inspiration, be sure to check out the awesome Halloween projects from the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge blog Design Team – you’ll love em!

Thanks for stopping in today.   As promised, tomorrow will be another Snowman Tuesday    Smiley from millan.net  ~   hope you can stop back.

House Mouse Challenge ~ Vintage

Happy House Mouse Monday!!

Happy Monday and welcome back for a new House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge ~ Vintage.    There’s just something about this adorable image that takes me back to the wild, wild west days, so I thought he would be perfect for our Vintage challenge.    The Happy Hopper stamp is called Bunny Bath.

I’ve used the Basic Grey cappella paper for this card ~ which I love!   (think I say that every time!)   🙂    I always go to the Internet for inspiration when I’m looking for an appropriate sentiment . . . I was excited to find this one from former U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson and thought it would fit pretty well.

Be sure to stop over at the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge blog to take a peek at the awesome Vintage creations from the amazing design team … you’ll love them all!

Thanks for stopping in today ~ be sure to stop back tomorrow for the winner of my blogoversary candy!
