O Christmas Tree ~ O Christmas Tree!!

Many years ago, my DS embossed and framed a beautiful Christmas tree image along with a wonderful matching sentiment – which I still have and display every year for Christmas.   So, I thought I would give it try with this Christmas tree from Inkadinkado!     Unfortunately, all the sparkles just don’t show up very well in the photos.   Here are a few different shots:

And a second version:

The Christmas tree by Inkadinkado was heat embossed with Gold Super Fine Detail EP, then colored with Copics.  I also added some Christmas Red Stickles and gold glitter for the decorations.   Both versions use Graphic 45 DP.

Hope you’re having a great weekend!    Hope to see you tomorrow for House Mouse Monday!   🙂

A Merry Christmas Cutie!

I was finally able to play along with the Wednesday Sketch Challenge over at SCS ~ it’s been soooo long!   I just HAD to do another card with one the December images from C.C. Designs!!   This little cutie pie is Sugarplums Santa Emma.

I also used one of the stamps from the Inkadinkado Winter Borders  stamp set, for Emma to sit on.   I heat embossed it with Ranger Super Fine Detail Clear Embossing Powder and colored some of the pine branches with my Copics ~ then I HAD to add some Christmas Red Stickles  to the flowers.   I think I’m going to be using these stamps alot, they are sooo versatile for cards and add a little extra detail.    Here’s a link to the complete set.

This is the awesome Sketch from SCS

And here’s my Santa Emma  card …    (sounds like a city in CA!)

I couldn’t resist … had to add a little pom pom to her hat!   too much fun AGAIN!

The sentiment is computer generated.  I used the Angelic War  font downloaded from dafont.com

This sketch was fun to do – you should give it a try!    🙂

P.S. I will be adding a few more cards to my ETSY store, including this one, in the next few days.  Hope y0u can do a little shopping.   I was amazed when I discovered someone had purchased 15 CARDS!   I thought for sure it was a relative of mine!   lol

Love & Good Will

Thanks for visiting today!   I’ve got another quick and easy Christmas card – my goal for this Christmas!   I’ve used a stamp from the Inkadinkado set – Winter Birds.    I used the sparrow stamp from Inkadinkado, along with a sentiment from the Papertrey Ink Snowflake Serenade set.  Both were stamped with a combination of Brilliance Mediterranean Blue and Ancient Page Flannel Gray inks.

The gorgeous dp is from Creative Imaginations and I’ve added some dark blue glitter snowflakes by Hero Arts – although they look silver in the picture.   The edges of the dp have been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Faded Jeans.    Ribbon is from my stash.    I think that’s it  ~  yep, another quick and easy Christmas card!!
