Copic Creations ~ Favorite Paper for Copic Coloring

 

 

Hellooooo out there!    I hope there are a few of you who still remember me.   🙂     I know it’s been ages.    We’re finally all moved into the new house … not necessarily all unpacked, but we’re getting there!      Now, I’m dealing with over 2,000 emails from the past month and a half!!    Holy moly, I’ve missed a lot.    Hopefully, anyone waiting for a response will have a little patience with me since I’m moving very slowly.    

I’m happy that my first post after this long absence is for today’s Copic Creations challenge.   I think we’ve got a great one today too!     We even have a poll on the blog for you to vote for your favorite paper.

Copic Creations Challenge ~ Reflections

I have to tell you, I couldn’t bear the thought of making another RED or PINK card!!     I’m a little Valentined out.    🙂    So, I thought this new paper from Basic Grey’s Sugar Rush collection was just what I needed to take a break!      I did add some little red heart brads in the corners and used some Martha Stewart polka dot red paper which has been punched with ~ what else? ~ a Martha Stewart heart edge punch!    The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a Spellbinders tag die.

We had another Color Challenge today for Club Anime ~ using pink, hot pink and red

 

For my card I used Tracy, one of the newest Club Anime images from InStyle Stamps.   How could I resist this sentiment?!    Be sure to stop over at the CA blog to see all the gorgeous Color Challenge cards!

 

Tracy was colored with Copics and attached with dimensionals.  The sentiment is computer generated.   I promise to do a tutorial showing how I do this yet this weekend.  It’s really pretty easy ~ so, please stay tuned!

Club Anime Sketch Challenge ~ Plus two of my favorite words (Shoe Sale)!

Living in Wisconsin in January is NOT a lot of fun — except for all the After-Christmas Sales, of course!    There are a few things I tend to collect, Copic markers, SHOES!   🙂    So I thought this image from InStyle stamps would be perfect for any fellow shoe shopper …

Yep!   It’s a Happy New Year card!    🙂     Our theme for InStyle Stamps Over the Hump Blog Candy Giveaway (held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month) is NEW YEARS!     I thought this InStyle Stamps Ava (Ava laying down) would be perfect for the top of the 2010.   I colored Ava with Copics, cut her out and mounted her to the cardstock with dimensionals.

The 2010 and sentiment were computer generated and the DP is by TPC Studio, called Winter Blues Swirl.  I also used some silver foil cs, silver Stickles and added some silver swirl clips in each corner.   THIS was a hard one to photograph!!

Club Anime Color Challenge

  

 

Happy Saturday!   Hope you’re having a good weekend so far.   It’s the second Saturday of the month and time for another Club Anime Color Challenge.   And what a great color combo it is this month ~  very appropriate for the season!   The colors we were to use are red, green and brown . . .

InStyle Stamps Blog Hop ~ Ornaments

My second project features Christmas Tree Chick.   My twin granddaughters LOVE candy canes and they include them with the ornaments on their tree each year.   So I thought it would be fun to give them a pre-holiday gift of some candy canes – for eating AND decorating!     

I used one of the holiday boxes from the dollar section at Target and added my image.

 

 

And for my final ornament project …

 

My granddaughters, who LOVE pink and purple, have a small Christmas tree that they decorate in their room.  I found some pretty pink and purple smaller sized ornaments that were perfect for their tree and added them to another box from Target, also with Christmas Tree Chick.

Club Anime Color Challenge

 

Happy Saturday!   Hope you’re having a fun weekend.   It’s the second Saturday of the month and time for another Club Anime Color Challenge.   The colors we were to use are coral, chocolate and kiwi  . . .

 

 

For my card I used cutie Mieko from InStyle Stamps  Anime Digital Download section, and she’s ON SALE!!!    (love those two words!)  I do love this color combination, but really struggled making a card with them.   I hope her hair can be considered coral!

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

No, I really haven’t lost my mind!   Our theme for InStyle Stamps Over the Hump Blog Candy Giveaway (held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month) is SNOW!   … not one of MY favorite things!!   But, when your skiing outfit is as colorful and InStyle as Suzette’s, you definitely want it to keep snowing!  

 

  

Suzette is one of the newest digi images available from InStyle Stamps.   If you haven’t tried digital images yet, Suzette  is the perfect image to give it a try – she’s LOTS of fun to color and can be done pretty quickly.   Believe it or not, this card took me less than an hour to make!   Now that’s a record for me!!     🙂

Club Anime Sketch Challenge

 

 

Welcome!   Yesterday was Club Anime’s monthly Sketch Challenge, held each month of the 2nd.   Here’s the Sketch we were to work with …

 

 

And here’s my card using one of Club Anime’s newest images ~ Snowman Chick!  

 

The image has been colored with Copics and cut out and attached with dimensionals.  This gorgeous flock dp is from Bo Bunny.  I also added a small piece of ribbon for Mr. Snowman’s scarf and some Kaiser half pearls in a minty blue color.    The snowflake is from Making Memories.
